Individual Singing Lessons – Questions and Answers
The lessons are always tailored to the needs of the student. Initially, a plan for your vocal development will be discussed, based on your expectations, goals, and current skills. This plan will allow you to achieve your goals and develop your voice as quickly as possible.
A lesson typically lasts 45 minutes. This is the best time frame to warm up the voice, focus on a specific topic, and summarize the lesson at the end. However, in exceptional situations (e.g., if you need a quick warm-up before a concert, or if you are traveling from far away), there is an option for a 30 or 60-minute lesson.
This is very relative and depends on many factors, including how much time you can dedicate to practicing at home, your expectations, and whether you are a professional or an amateur. Lessons tend to work best once a week, or for more advanced individuals, twice a month. In situations where you are preparing for a concert, recording, or exam, there is an option to intensify to two lessons a week.
I teach individuals who have a passion for singing and are determined to achieve results.
Prepare a piece that you want to present in the first lesson. There is no need to memorize the lyrics, but if you feel inclined to do so, it would be very helpful. Bring a printed copy of the lyrics divided into verses, choruses, etc. If the lesson is online, please send the lyrics via email before the meeting begins.
Of course. Lesson times are always scheduled according to the CET time zone, so if you are in a different time zone, please inform me when arranging lessons.
